(DailyVantage.com) – It seems like the Democrats are always looking for ways to infringe on Americans’ Second Amendment rights, no matter how many times they fail. This time, there are 51 specific weapons at stake.
Washington State Democrats Manka Dhinga, Joe Ngyugen, Jamie Pedersen, and other leading party members introduced the bill, SB 5217, which lists several “assault weapons” including the AK-47, AK-74, Beretta AR70 and many others from popular gun manufacturers Heckler & Koch, Bushmaster and Sterling, to name a few.
The legislation also includes a provision to ban any rimfire rifle shorter than 30”. But even those longer than 30” aren’t completely safe from the Democrats’ efforts either, especially if they’re created from a conversion kit or from a “combination of parts, from which an assault weapon can be assembled.” Anyone found to be in possession of these weapons would face a Class C felony charge.

This measure is only one of six bills being pushed by Democrats in an attempt to punish legal gun owners. The thing is most are responsible and abide by the laws. Removing these guns isn’t only an infringement on Second Amendment rights, it’s not going to end the practice of criminals obtaining weapons illegally, which is the real issue at hand.
