A New Hillary Clinton Investigation Might Be Launched

(DailyVantage.com) – After special counsel John Durham released the report on his probe of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation into Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan suggested that Durham’s findings could result in a new investigation into Hillary Clinton, Newsweek reported.

While appearing on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo in late May, Jordan discussed Durham’s report.

When asked if he wanted to “see another investigation” into the Clintons based on the findings in Durham’s report, Jordan told Bartiromo that “nothing is off the table.”

Jordan explained that the American people needed to understand how the federal government and federal agencies “have turned on them.”

Jordan noted that the FBI not only failed to investigate Hillary Clinton the same way they investigated Trump, but the FBI also gave the Hillary campaign a “defensive briefing” on its investigation, which the Trump campaign did not receive “because they had no evidence.”

Jordan told Bartiromo that the Judiciary Committee would talk with their counsel and discuss the matter with Speaker McCarthy to figure out how to proceed.

During his first public testimony since launching his yearslong probe last month, Durham told the House Judiciary Committee that senior FBI officials kept critical details of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation from the agents assigned to it.

Durham also said the FBI brass was willing to open an investigation based entirely on “politically-funded” and “uncorroborated” opposition research paid for by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Additionally, Durham told the committee that the FBI relied too heavily on the Steele dossier, the opposition research collected for the Clinton campaign by Fusion GPS, obtaining FISA warrants based solely on the dossier despite knowing it originated “from a political campaign or political opponent.”

The special counsel revealed that when his team showed Joe Pientka, the first supervisor of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, the intelligence behind the investigation, Pientka admitted that he had never seen it before.
