(DailyVantage.com) – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) just doesn’t know when to quit. Following a few significant Democratic losses last week, you’d think she’d acknowledge there might be a problem with the way the far Left approaches issues and brainstorm ways to reach constituents. Yet, AOC insists on doubling down against those who dare speak out against “wokeness.”
Democratic strategist James Carville warned the party is on the wrong track following Terry McAuliffe’s (D) loss to Glenn Youngkin (R) in Virginia’s gubernatorial race and one Texas district flipping Red. Instead of taking his advice, Ocasio-Cortez slammed his remarks, calling his way of thinking dangerous.
One dangerous aspect of thinking there’s a “woke problem” is that Dem chances for re-election or majorities in House, Senate, & WH rely on the racial justice issue of voting rights.
Dems distancing from racial justice makes protection of voting rights less likely, ensuring losses

Carville has a point, and he backed it up, pointing to cities such as Seattle, Minneapolis and Buffalo, where extreme pushes have caused communities to suffer. Rather than accept responsibility, AOC continued to push back with rambling Twitter posts shaming Fox News for “conditioning Dems” and blaming voter suppression for poor turnouts. Then, she called Carville “dangerous” for saying that “wokeness” is the issue.
Continuing to push radical agendas despite a lack of support from those in your own party… isn’t that what’s really dangerous? If last week’s GOP victories were any indication, she might be in for a huge disappointment during the 2022 midterm elections.
