(DailyVantage.com) – The crisis at the southern border continued spiraling out of control after President Joe Biden took office, and it doesn’t appear as if it will go away anytime soon. More than two million migrants have crossed into the United States since the start of fiscal year 2022. The commander-in-chief recently visited Arizona but skipped stopping by the border to inspect daily operations or speak with local officials. His rationale for this choice has many people scratching their heads.
It appears Biden was going to speak at a computer chips factory during his visit to Arizona on December 6. The president told Fox News he felt the visit was important because the company is “going to invest billions of dollars in a new enterprise.” When Peter Doocy, a White House correspondent for Fox, pressed him for additional clarification, Biden replied that “there are more important things going on.”

Naturally, this statement didn’t go over well with many who believe national security should be a top — if not the top — priority.
President Biden said he has more important things to do than visit the southern border, but real leaders know that the buck stops with them.

Republicans have already made the trek to see the immigration situation for themselves. The current administration largely dismissed these visits, labeling them “political stunts.”
Biden’s visit to Arizona was short, yet logistically, he could feasibly have made the trip to the border. The New York Post compared it to one of his many trips home to Delaware. Do you think Biden is just making excuses at this point?
