Biden-Harris Sticker Found on Trump Assassination Suspect’s Vehicle

(DailyVantage.com) – Ryan Wesley Routh, a 58-year-old man from Hawaii, was arrested on Sunday after allegedly attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump. Reports indicate that Routh had a Biden-Harris bumper sticker on a truck outside his home in Kaaawa, Hawaii, which has sparked attention due to his apparent political affiliations.

According to the New York Post, Routh had been politically active for years, frequently posting about politics online. Since 2019, he had reportedly donated exclusively to Democratic candidates and causes. The truck with the Biden-Harris sticker, parked outside his home, was clearly visible in a photograph published by Getty Images. This detail has raised eyebrows, given Routh’s reported hatred of Trump and his support for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Routh’s political activism wasn’t limited to U.S. politics. In 2022, he was in Ukraine, supporting the war effort against Russia. He was interviewed by the New York Times during that time, where he shared his efforts to recruit volunteers to fight for Ukraine. His passion for the war in Ukraine, as well as his strong opposition to Trump, paints a picture of a man deeply invested in political causes. However, it remains unclear how these elements led to an alleged assassination attempt.

This incident marks the second assassination attempt on Trump in just over two months. The first was carried out by Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had little online presence. Routh, by contrast, was active on social media, and his left-leaning views were not a secret.

Politicians across the political spectrum have condemned the attempted attack. However, some media outlets have shifted the focus, blaming Trump for creating an atmosphere of political violence. These same outlets have refrained from scrutinizing their own role or the rhetoric of figures like Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party, which have frequently been critical of Trump.

As investigations continue, the arrest of Routh raises questions about the role political divisions and online discourse play in fueling such dangerous actions.
