(DailyVantage.com) – Part of an incoming president’s job is appointing people to head up high-ranking positions in his administration. Since his inauguration, President Joe Biden has faced scrutiny for many of his choices. Some have even withdrawn their names from consideration after intense backlash. Now, one more nominee is causing strife.
Saule Omarova is a Cornell Law Professor and President Biden’s choice to head the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). This position oversees the federal and national banking systems. While on paper, it seems she has the qualifications — she worked in George W. Bush’s Treasury Dept — it’s what’s hidden in her past that’s drawing concern.
Anyone else notice Biden's put forward a nominee that's communist-adjacent? Saule Omarova wants to "end banking" & basically nationalize it? Meanwhile, Biden is trying to convert the IRS into something that models Venezuela or Cuba. At least there are no more mean tweets, right?

In an exclusive statement, Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) spoke with Breitbart News, listing all the points disqualifying Omarova. First and foremost, he listed her radical viewpoints, which he says exhibit clear Marxism.

Even Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) feels her long-standing beliefs conflict with what’s best for the country, calling out her college thesis on Karl Marx as one example of evidence. John Carney, Economics Editor for Breitbart News, pointed out in a 2021 article published in Vanderbilt Law Review, Omarova writes about eliminating community banking. This move would be a huge blow to the millions of people who use local banks and businesses and have a devastating effect on the economy as a whole.
Does this mean she would enact those changes? It’s anybody’s guess, but is it a risk the government should take?
However, the real question is why so many of Biden’s nominees seem to have questionable pasts?
