Campaign ANNOUNCED – 2024 Plans Confirmed!

(DailyVantage.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, officially launched her 2024 presidential bid on Tuesday.

This makes Hayley the second Republican candidate to officially announce a run for the White House; the first being Donald Trump.

Her Tuesday announcement has already elicited a barrage of reactions from politicians and television personalities alike.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)  had some rather positive comments regarding Haley’s election bid. “I’m confident she will acquit herself well as a candidate for president”, Graham posted on Twitter.

Others, however, have not been nearly as sanguine about Haley’s prospects. Ryan James Girdusky, a populist-conservative author and Twitter user, called Haley a “Republican version of Hillary Clinton”.

Conservative political provocateur Laura Loomer tweeted that Haley, along with Tim Scott and Ron DeSantis, would get “destroyed” by Trump in a Republican primary.

Perhaps the most animated reaction to Haley’s announcement, though, came from The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg. Goldberg scolded Haley, saying that she has been “asleep all this time” and accused her of painting an overly optimistic picture of America.

Just hours after Hayley’s announcement that she will be throwing her hat into the ring, it is already clear that she will have to fend off attacks from all sides.

What’s more, Haley has not polled well against Trump and DeSantis. In a Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Tuesday, Trump polled at 43%; DeSantis, 31%; Pence, 7%; and Haley with just 4%. Her Real Clear Politics average sits at a measly 3.8%.

This, of course, is not to say that Haley cannot pick up some steam. With the election being in November of 2024, Haley still has plenty of time to give herself a leg up in the polls. Surely she must be preparing for even more attacks from both sides of the aisle and, most importantly, from President Trump himself.
