FBI Scandal – Child Predator Victims Unveil Their Demand
(DailyVantage.com) – Olympic doctor Larry Nassar abused several girls for years. He pleaded guilty to seven charges of criminal sexual conduct and received up to 175 years in prison for his crimes. He’ll likely never set foot outside again. However, the abuse still lives on in the minds of his victims, and now they’re suing the FBI and other federal agencies for what they called a blatant mishandling of their cases.
On Wednesday, June 8, more than 90 women filed federal tort claims against the federal agencies. The list of plaintiffs includes McKayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols, Aly Raisman and Simone Biles. Collectively, the claimants are seeking over $1 billion in damages.

In a statement, Maroney said, “My fellow survivors and I were betrayed by every institution that was supposed to protect us.” Among them, she named not only the FBI, but the Department of Justice (DOJ), USA Gymnastics, and the US Olympic Committee.
The torts follow a scathing report released last summer and the DOJ’s and FBI Director Christopher Wray’s apology to the victims. Still, in May, the DOJ declined to file charges against two federal agents who mishandled the investigations, acted to hide their mistakes, and lied to investigators.
The US Olympic and Paralympic Committee and USA Gymnastics settled with Nassar’s victims at the end of 2021 for $380 million.
