CIA Implicated in 2020 Election Tampering, Says Report

(DailyVantage.com) – The House Judiciary Committee has released a report indicating that contractors working for the CIA (U.S. Central Intelligence Agency) worked with the family of President Joe Biden to mislead American voters.

The report was created by the Judiciary Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. It claims that a number of top officials of the CIA, including its former director, Gina Haspel, were involved in the issuance of a public statement that sought to discredit and downplay the allegations that the Biden family – Hunter Biden in particular – engaged in influence peddling in the lead up to the 2020 presidential elections.

According to the Judiciary Committee’s chairman, Republican Ohio Representative Jim Jordan, the public statement was issued by “so-called former officials” of the CIA – but in truth, a number of them were actually still “on active contract” with the intelligence agency. The statement pertained to the Hunter Biden emails, which the 51 signatories said were likely part of an effort by foreign actors from Russia who wanted to interfere with elections in the U.S.

“The report underscores the risks posed by a weaponized federal government,” Jordan said.

The issue of the Hunter Biden emails was first reported by the New York Post, but the committee claims that the 51 former intelligence officials worked with Biden’s campaign team to “falsely cast doubt” on the exposé published by the New York Post and simply label the incident of the abandoned laptop of Hunter Biden as another “Russian disinformation” effort.

Furthermore, the committee named Secretary of State Antony Blinken – who was then one of the top members of the Biden campaign – of calling Michael Morell, who was at the time serving as deputy CIA director, to help coordinate a response to the New York Post article regarding the incriminating information found of Hunter Biden’s laptop.

The committee said that the report raises concerns that these CIA officials “abused their positions” on behalf of the Biden campaign “and may have been earning taxpayer dollars while they did it.”
