(DailyVantage.com) – The Durham Probe, which is entering year three, has uncovered quite a few interesting details. It has, so far, led to the indictment of a former Clinton Campaign lawyer. Yet, regarding the former secretary of state, one congressman believes it’s too late to charge her with anything; She’ll get off scot-free.
Sharyl Attkisson recently interviewed Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who serves on a judicial panel overseeing the DOJ. When discussing the Durham Probe, Issa expressed his concerns that time is quickly running out for Hillary Clinton to face any type of justice. “Justice delayed is justice denied,” he said.
The probe has resulted in the indictment of Michael Sussmann, a cybersecurity lawyer who allegedly lied to the FBI and concealed the fact that he worked for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Additionally, Kevin Clinesmith, an FBI lawyer, admitted to fraudulently altering an email involving a Trump campaign aide. But Hillary has escaped any consequences thus far, and Issa is skeptical she’ll ever face any, saying the probe “could lynch Hillary Clinton, and it wouldn’t change a thing.”
While time may prove Issa right about Hillary, he did suggest the experience serves as a learning lesson for Congress to put “real-time limits” and “real meat” behind its investigations and reports.
