(DailyVantage.com) – Kimberly Brown, daughter of the late NFL icon Jim Brown, has officially endorsed former President Donald Trump, crediting Trump’s commitment to the Black community and other policy initiatives as key reasons behind her support. Appearing on FOX & Friends, Brown spoke about how her father’s work with Trump during his first term inspired her to re-evaluate her own stance.
“My dad went to meet with President-elect Trump, and that really opened my eyes,” Brown explained. “I stayed neutral for about a year, but after seeing what Trump was actually doing in office, I came out as a supporter.”
She emphasized Trump’s actions in his first 100 days, which included securing religious freedoms through executive order and signing the First Step Act for criminal justice reform—a measure her father had consulted on. “I saw Trump making real changes,” she continued, “like funding historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), promoting school choice, and defunding Planned Parenthood, which is critical for saving Black lives.”
As an athlete herself, Brown also highlighted her concerns regarding women’s sports, specifically mentioning the dangers posed by biological men competing in female categories. “I play tackle football,” she noted. “For a 300-pound man to compete against me, that’s not just unfair—it’s unsafe.” She cited risks of concussions and injuries in a contact sport and criticized policies that allow male athletes to participate in women’s sports, saying, “Title IX was supposed to protect us, not erase our rights.”
Brown expressed frustration with the Biden-Harris administration’s stance on these issues, stating, “They’re taking away opportunities and rights for women in sports. This is a different sex coming into our spaces, and I don’t understand why they’re pushing this agenda.”
The conversation also turned to recent comments by billionaire Mark Cuban, who suggested on The View that Trump “never surrounds himself with strong, intelligent women.” Brown dismissed Cuban’s claims as “completely false,” asserting, “Donald Trump surrounds himself with strong, intelligent women. Those same women are going to help him win back the White House and become the 47th President of the United States.”
