DeSantis Blames Biden for Brutal Murder

(DailyVantage.com) – The border crisis has been raging on for months now, with seemingly no end in sight. To make matters worse, the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) routinely flies unaccompanied minors across the country — sometimes in the middle of the night — to resettle them in areas where they have sponsors and family waiting. However, it appears the agency recently made a grave mistake, and it allegedly cost an American citizen his life. Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is now calling out the Biden Administration, saying they have blood on their hands.

The Crime

On October 7, Francisco Javier Cuellar was stabbed to death in a Jacksonville, Florida, home. Police initially booked 17-year-old Reynel Alexander Hernandez for the crime. They charged him with second-degree murder and tampering with evidence. However, mere days later, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials notified local authorities the man they had in custody was not who they thought he was. In a shocking plot twist, it turns out the suspect was actually 24-year-old Yery Noel Medina Ulloa. So, how did he allegedly end up on a resettlement flight for unaccompanied minors?

Was He on a Resettlement Flight?

Authorities don’t currently know how exactly Ulloa ended up in Florida after they detained him at the border, but the victim’s daughter suspects it was via a resettlement flight. These flights, however, focus on serving minors aged 17 and younger.

If Ulloa did, indeed, end up on one of these planes pretending to be a 17-year-old teen, it points to a serious problem with the vetting process. After all, the simple fact the Miami Field Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations flagged Ulloa shows he was in the system. So, why wasn’t his identity detected earlier?

Ron DeSantis’ Outrage

Ron DeSantis is no stranger to calling out the Biden Administration for their failures. As such, he wasted no time pointing the finger this time, blaming the administration for dropping illegals into his state, who then, in turn, commit violent crimes. DeSantis appeared on Fox network’s Tucker Carlson show and did not mince his words. He called out HHS for dropping illegals off in the middle of the night with no notice. “And, if Biden had not been doing that, if he’d been doing his job, that individual would be alive today.”

DeSantis has a point. If authorities had detected Ulloa’s real identity before allegedly putting him on a flight, they might have avoided this whole tragedy, and Cuellar would still be alive today.
