(DailyVantage.com) – Several police officers around the country have signed off for the last time, protesting the impending vaccine mandates due to take effect next month. Many are sounding off as they quit, blasting their superiors for not sticking up for them and their freedoms, thus catering to the Left. In Florida, however, Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is taking a completely different approach.
On Sunday, October 24, DeSantis announced he’s seeking to enact legislation to benefit these officers. If they’re willing to relocate to the Sunshine State, they’ll receive a one-time, $5000 bonus.
Even better, he doesn’t care about their vaccination status. Receive the jab or not, he’s got a place for police officers in his state. It’s simply a matter of getting the law in place and securing the appropriate funding.
This plan is likely to be an attractive offer for those who have left or been terminated for refusing inoculation. Washington State has already lost 1,900 state employees because of the mandate. In Chicago, Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) has gone toe-to-toe with the Fraternal Order of Police President, John Catanzara. These and other incidents show how fed up people are with being told what to do with their bodies. DeSantis’ offer could be just what they need.
