Donald Trump Sent A Private Request To Sarah Huckabee!

(DailyVantage.com) – On Sunday the New York Times reported that former President Donald Trump asked Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders for a 2024 endorsement.

Huckabee Sanders, who served as Trump’s Press Secretary from 2017-2019, has declined to make any endorsements thus far. According to the report, Trump said he was “disappointed” by Huckabee Sanders’ decision to hold out.

Trump quickly took to Truth Social to dispel claims that he asked Huckabee Sanders for an endorsement. Trump wrote that he “never asked Sarah Huckabee Sanders for an endorsement”. He went on to say that “nobody has done more for her than I have, with the possible exception of her great father, Mike!”

Trump, though, has already received a number of notable endorsements from some prominent figures in the Republican Party. Former 2016 presidential candidate and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has already thrown his support behind Trump. At a campaign event for Trump in South Carolina, Graham, rebutting comments about how the GOP needs Trump’s policies but not the man himself, declared that “there are no Trump policies without Donald Trump.”

Freshman Senator and author of the best selling Hillbilly Elegy J.D. Vance (R-OH) was also quick to endorse the 45th president, despite being a Trump detractor initially. In January Vance told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that “the simple fact is Donald Trump’s policies were incredibly good for this country and he’s very popular among Republican voters.”

Additionally, Trump has received backing from 3 other Senators, 27 members of the House of Representatives, and 1 governor. As the election gets closer, however, others in the Republican Party and likely to throw their support behind him.

In the past few weeks, Trump has dominated the GOP primary polls. A recent Emerson poll has him 30 points ahead of DeSantis, with the rest of the pack trailing far behind.
