(DailyVantage.com) – Dr. Anthony Fauci has been the face of the national pandemic response since COVID-19 hit the United States. In the beginning, he shared insight and recommendations for Americans to help flatten the curve. Over time, he drew ire from those who opposed his draconian restriction suggestions — lockdowns, travel rules, vaccinations — many of which became reality. However, it seems Fauci has gotten a bit too big for his britches.
On Sunday, November 28, Dr. Fauci appeared on CBS’ “Face the Nation” and spoke with Margaret Brennan about COVID-19, its variants, and his role’s politicization. The latter, he says, is all “noise.” He went on to say his naysayers are “criticizing science because I represent science.”
That’s quite an assumption to make and say on live television. Rand Paul immediately called Fauci out on his ego.
The absolute hubris of someone claiming THEY represent science. It’s astounding and alarming that a public health bureaucrat would even think to claim such a thing, especially one who has worked so hard to ignore the science of natural immunity. https://t.co/rcDezphVRR

The scientific community spans the globe; to claim to represent the group in its entirety — including many who have spoken out against Fauci — is tone-deaf, to say the least. Perhaps, before he makes such broad statements, the doctor might want to consider that there are many people whose opinions differ from his — and like Rand Paul, they’re not afraid to speak out and call him on his malarkey.
