Elon Musk LEAK Reveals Private Orders To Employees

(DailyVantage.com) – When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and lockdowns went into effect, many employees began working remotely. After the government lifted restrictions, many employers continued offering their employees the opportunity to work from home when possible. One entrepreneur, however, has seemingly had enough of the remote work culture and is ordering his employees back into the office — or they can quit.

On Tuesday, May 31, an email circulated online, purportedly sent by Tesla owner Elon Musk to his executive staff. In the message, with the subject line “Remote work is no longer acceptable,” he tells employees they must return to the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week. If they don’t, they must “depart Tesla.”

The message also advised recipients that they must labor in a “main Tesla office, not a remote branch,” unrelated to their job’s scope. Musk would review and approve exceptions on a case-by-case basis himself.

Musk seemingly confirmed he sent the message through a response on Twitter, calling the employees’ work ethic into question.

Musk, reputed for his profound work ethic, once owned up to toiling 120-hours per week in the past, and it’s clear that he expects the same from his employees.

Do you think it matters where employees work so long as they accomplish their goals?
