(DailyVantage.com) – A university professor who spent over ten years working as an intel analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency warned American citizens about the intelligence community’s involvement in the 2024 presidential election. According to Dr. John Gentry, the Biden administration’s politicization of various intelligence agencies and law enforcement departments encourages federal departments’ involvement in the upcoming election. In his warning, Gentry also referred to the growing diversity, equity, and inclusion movement.
Gentry claimed that members of the intelligence community, whom he referred to as the “proverbial deep state,” will re-emerge in 2024’s election. Gentry says that intelligence agencies will become involved in the election due to the popularity of certain Republican candidates who pose a threat to the Biden administration. Gentry noted that many intelligence officials prefer policies similar to those passed by the Biden administration and are likely planning to work against a Republican candidate. Gentry refers to policies passed by the White House throughout President Biden’s term, which grants law enforcement and intelligence agencies more authority over everyday United States citizens.
The 2024 election wouldn’t be the first time intelligence officials became involved in a United States presidential election, as multiple intelligence officials actively discredited the now infamous Hunter Biden laptop controversy. Just moments after the laptop story broke, more than 50 former intelligence officials signed a letter claiming the story to be a hoax. The Central Intelligence Agency also approved the letter’s publication, indicating widespread involvement by the CIA. According to Gentry, the decision to “downplay” the Hunter Biden scandal was politically motivated and an attempt to aid the Biden presidential campaign.
Gentry claims that the signs of intelligence agency involvement in the 2024 presidential election are already present, as multiple intelligence officials recently released a statement about the potential dangers of another Donald Trump presidential term. Gentry named Marc Polymeropoulos, a former CIA official involved in the Hunter Biden laptop letter, and Asha Rangappa, who worked for the FBI.
According to Gentry, Polymeropoulos, and Rangappa released a warning about Donald Trump, explicitly referring to Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric. Despite the warning, Donald Trump remains the most popular Republican candidate in the 2024 presidential race and currently outperforms President Biden in multiple battleground states.
