Ex-Democrat Faces REPLACEMENT From Unlikely Challenger!

(DailyVantage.com) – Kyrsten Sinema is, without question, up for a tough reelection bid in 2024. Running as an Independent, she will have to fend off both Republican and Democratic opposition.

Mark Lamb, a sheriff out of Pinal County, announced on Monday that he would be challenging moderate Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) as a Republican.

With Arizona being a border state, many local politicians have criticized President Joe Biden’s handling of the migrant crisis. Lamb, a hawk on immigration, has been especially vocal about the President’s inaction at the border.

Moreover, the right-wing sheriff has criticized the administration for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, voicing his opposition to the vaccine mandates.

Lamb, who is a hard-line Trump supporter, released a campaign announcement video on Monday wherein he promised to “stand up to the woke left” and “secure our border and support our law enforcement.”

Lamb has also reportedly doubted the integrity of the 2020 Presidential election.

Sinema’s Senate seat is of vital importance in 2024. A Republican victory in Arizona could very well put an end to Democrat rule in the upper chamber.

While Sinema is actively raising funds for a potential reelection campaign, she is yet to officially declare her candidacy.

She, however, would not be the only vulnerable Senate candidate in 2024.

Montana Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) also has a tough road to victory in the next election cycle. Montana is, of course, an exceptionally red state. In the 2020 election, former President Donald Trump won the state handily with over 16% of the vote.

Similarly, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) is likely to face the toughest race of his life in 2024. Manchin, by far the most conservative Democrat in the Senate, holds another pivotal seat that can end up determining the Party balance in the Senate.
