Famous Investigator FOUND DEAD…
(DailyVantage.com) – Las Vegas investigative journalist Jeff German worked for the Review-Journal and was well-known for his beat reporting on the area’s crime. He gained particular notoriety for his coverage of the 2017 mass shooting that claimed 60 lives and injured hundreds more. Unfortunately, Sin City recently lost a star reporter when neighbors found the 69-year-old dead outside his home.
Police responded to German’s home around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 3. According to news reports, his death resulted from “multiple sharp force injuries,” and police subsequently listed the incident as a homicide.
The Clark County coroner confirmed that 69-year-old Las Vegas journalist, Jeff German, died of multiple sharp force injuries, and the manner of German's death was a homicide.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) quickly “enacted its major case protocol” and urgently gathered “a variety of resources” to hunt down German’s killer. Captain Dori Koren revealed authorities believe there was an altercation outside the reporter’s home, ultimately leading to his stabbing. Police have yet to establish a motive, but their investigation has led to a suspect and is ongoing.
Although devastated by German’s death, his peers recognized him not only for the person he was but also for his investigative skills in digging up stories surrounding issues that plagued the city.

Executive Editor Glenn Cook of the Review-Journal expressed his team’s sorrow, saying the news family is “devastated” and German “will be terribly missed.”
