FBI Takes Alleged Child Predator Into Custody

FBI Takes Pedophile Into Custody

(DailyVantage.com) – The FBI took Jorge Eduardo Naranjo into custody on charges of attempted coercion and enticement of a child on Monday, March 28. The arrest came after a brief exchange on a social media app where the 19-year-old indicated he was looking to have sex with girls as young as 6.

The FBI began its investigation into Naranjo last November when an agent received three sexually explicit images of children from a user on the messenger app, KiK. The agency then obtained subpoenas to trace the account, which led authorities to San Juan. An undercover agent reached out to Naranjo’s username, “damnucuteaf,” on March 3 and received a response on March 12.

Naranjo sent the agent material and then reached out to another undercover agent in Philadelphia, trying to hash out plans to meet up and have sex with a 9-year-old girl on South Padre Island. However, when he showed up, the FBI was waiting.

During questioning, Naranjo admitted he possessed child pornography and he intended to meet at a hotel to have sex with a minor. He appeared in court on March 30 and was jailed without bail. The courts set a detention hearing for Friday, April 1.
