Fox News Gets CALLED OUT – Trump Lets Them Have It!

(DailyVantage.com) – On Tuesday President Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to ridicule Fox News for its coverage of the recent pro-law enforcement rally in Staten Island.

Both Lee Zeldin, former Congressman and New York gubernatorial candidate, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis attended the event. Though the rally was relatively small in terms of attendance, it garnered a decent amount of press coverage.

President Trump, however, was not impressed. In a Truth Social post, he wrote that the rally was “small and unenthusiastic”. He questioned why Fox News would bother to cover an event that only attracted 139 people.

He continued, “I call FoxNews the RINO (Republican In Name Only) Network. He went on to say that Fox’s ratings are “DOWN BIG”.

Trump, who has taken a few shots at DeSantis in recent weeks, is likely displeased with Fox’s coverage of his speeches and variance appearances. DeSantis, however, has not announced whether or not he will run in 2024. It’s possible that the former president is attacking a man who will ultimately not be a competitor in the GOP primaries.

In the past few days Trump has amped up his attacks on DeSantis, often calling him Ron DeSanctimonious. On Tuesday, Trump truthed “Florida was doing GREAT long before Ron DeSanctus got there.”

While Trump continues his line of attack against DeSantis, Nikki Haley has officially declared her candidacy for 2024. Haley, who served as Ambassador to the U.N. in the Trump administration, has wasted no time stirring up controversy.

Haley is centering her campaign around being unabashedly pro-America. She has called for and to American “self loathing”. She has proudly declared that “America is not a racist country.”

Haley also made news when she called for “mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75 years old.”

Trump, though, seems to be spending little time going after Haley. DeSantis remains his primary target.
