(DailyVantage.com) – According to the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, Hunter Biden provided President Joe Biden with monthly payments from a business he owned. Comer also claims the business received the payments from China and that Hunter Biden’s payments to his father are from Chinese laundered money. Comer’s claims come as the representative released bank records for Hunter Biden’s business, Owasco PC.
The subpoenaed bank records show that Owasco PC sent President Joe Biden monthly payments totaling $1,380. Comer claims these payments weren’t from Hunter Biden but from payments Owasco PC received from China and other nations interested in paying President Biden. Comer initially subpoenaed the bank records to investigate the Biden family due to allegations of the family participating in a foreign bribery scheme involving nations like Ukraine and China.
According to a source with ties to Owasco PC, the company sent at least three direct payments to President Biden’s personal bank account in 2017 and 2018. Comer also claims that the Department of Justice is investigating Hunter Biden for allegedly using Owasco PC for tax evasion and other financial crimes. Comer also referred to whistleblower testimony, which indicated the Department of Justice actively prevented investigations into President Biden. Comer also referred to communications between Hunter Biden and his associates, which refer to a mysterious “big guy,” likely meaning President Biden.
Comer claims the payments sent to President Biden are evidence that he participated in influence peddling through businesses owned by his son, Hunter Biden. Comer also claims that President Biden maintained communications with foreign business officials while serving as former President Barack Obama’s vice president, using his position in the executive branch for his financial gain.
Despite the lack of criminal charges against members of the Biden family, Comer says the House Oversight Committee will continue its investigation into President Biden and Hunter Biden. Comer promises to share any evidence of corruption involving the Biden family and hold them accountable for criminal offenses.
Comer’s ongoing investigation coincides with the House of Representatives preparing an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. According to House Republican Jim Jordan, the potential charges against President Biden haven’t been chosen yet. Regardless of whether or not the House of Representatives votes to impeach President Biden, the Senate will likely block any impeachment efforts against him.
