(DailyVantage.com) – Ilhan Omar (D-MN) can’t seem to keep her mouth shut — and she’s at it again. This time, she has House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in her crosshairs.
On Sunday, December 5, Omar appeared on CNN’s State of the Union with host Jake Tapper and launched an attack in McCarthy’s direction, calling him “a liar and a coward.” These statements followed Omar’s very public fallout with Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who mocked her using language considered to be anti-Muslim by some. Boebert later apologized, but that wasn’t enough for Omar, who is not innocent by any means in the situation, considering she recently launched a personal attack on Boebert’s husband.
Omar didn’t stop with McCarthy, though. She took on the whole GOP, saying, “This is who they are,” pigeonholing all of them into a single category. McCarthy acknowledged Boebert publicly apologized and even called Omar, trying to make things right, but Omar wasn’t having it and apparently was upset the Colorado Rep. wouldn’t publicly apologize to her.
Boebert joined Newsmax to speak about the bickering, saying she’s moved on to other matters.
.@laurenboebert: "I've moved on from this controversy."
"I've made a public statement. I made a personal phone call to Ilhan [Omar] to make things right, she hung up on me." pic.twitter.com/BR6jD970EQ

Boebert publicly apologized for her statements and acknowledged she was wrong, and she’s trying to move on and focus on her constituents. Maybe Omar should take a page out of her book and do the same.
