(DailyVantage.com) – Meghan Markle last week met with two friends at an event in the Hamptons.
Makeup artist Bobbie Brown posted a photo on Instagram showing Markle, along with longtime friend fashion designer Misha Nonoo at the G9 Ventures Summer Summit in the Hamptons.
The summit was also attended by actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts, and Julianne Hough, as well as former news anchor Katie Couric and Sara Blakley, the founder of Spanx.
The summit was organized by startup investor G9 Ventures, which was founded by Amy Griffin.
Markle flew to the summit via a private jet along with IT Cosmetics co-founder Jamie Kern Lima.
According to sources, Markle attended the summit in hopes of getting advice on the launch of American Riviera Orchard, the new lifestyle brand that she announced earlier this year.
Jamie Kern Lima also posted photos with Meghan Markle at the summit on her Instagram account, including one with them seated next to former news anchor Diane Sawyer.
Misha Noono has known Meghan Markle for nearly ten years and attended her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.
Bobbie Brown is the founder of Jones Road and previously worked with Markle. The pair appeared in a 2016 promotional video in which Brown gave Markle tips on how to apply makeup while riding in the back of an Uber car.
Markle announced in March that she planned to start American Riviera Orchard, which would sell a variety of products including aromatherapy diffusers and yoga mats. While a trademark application for the new venture has been filed, so far not much of Markle’s business has been made public.
Markle was also spotted last week having lunch with Kimberly Williams-Paisley at a restaurant in Montecito, California. Like Markle, Paisley is an actress who starred in the 1991 film “Father of the Bride.” She is also married to country music star Brad Paisley.
Markle and Prince Harry live in Montecito with their two children. They recently returned from a trip to Nigeria.
