(DailyVantage.com) – Former First Lady Melania Trump has been known for her kind heart towards children, particularly during her time in the White House. She ran the Be Best campaign and paid many visits to the Children’s National Hospital to help lift kids’ spirits. Recently, she decided to do more to help children in foster care by auctioning off an NFT, or non-fungible token, and a hat she once wore in France.
The auction, deemed the “Head of State” collection, featured the now-famous white, wide-brimmed hat she wore at her first meeting with France’s President Emmanuel Macron. Melania autographed the custom-made piece, making it even more special. The collection also included a watercolor painting of Mrs. Trump wearing the hat and an NFT. When all was said and done, the auction raised $170,000, an admirable sum.

Per the statement on the auction, a portion of the proceeds will go to aid foster children. It would provide “access to computer science and technology education.”
It’s heartening to see Melania continuing her good deeds for the young population, even though she’s no longer in the public eye daily. The money raised through the auction is bound to do considerable good.
