Mike Lindell Confirms His Bid for RNC Chair

(DailyVantage.com) – After the anticipated red wave failed to manifest in this year’s midterms, some eyes turned to Republican National Committee Chair, Ronna Romney McDaniel. Fearing she may be an inadequate leader, several state parties — including Texas and Arizona — have called on her to resign from the position. Now, MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has thrown his hat in the ring as a prospective candidate.

On Monday, November 28, Lindell announced during an appearance on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast that he is making a bid for the RNC leadership role. Then, on December 5, the CEO said on his “Frank Speech” platform and in a call with Business Insider that he’s shored up support from six states and was working on garnering more. As of December 13, he’s officially in the running. He sent out a campaign message discussing the party’s strategy, which he calls a “disaster,” and said, “we must change course now,” according to Just the News.

Lindell also says he’s not in this for the money. He claims he has no plans to collect a paycheck, though he mused the salary must be “quite a bit,” per Business Insider. He’s ready to hit the ground running and said his experience running MyPillow had prepared him for the role.

Harmeet Dhillon has also said she will challenge McDaniel for the position.
