Military Leaders Call Out Walz for Rank Lies

(DailyVantage.com) – Four retired military leaders recently criticized Democrat presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) for exaggerating his military record and avoiding a deployment to Iraq. During an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show that aired Monday, these leaders openly condemned Walz, with retired Command Sergeant Major Paul Herr being particularly outspoken.

Herr didn’t hold back in his assessment of Walz, calling him a “habitual liar.” “He lies about everything! Even things that don’t make sense,” Herr stated. One key issue raised was Walz’s claim of being a “retired command sergeant major” for nearly two decades. In reality, Walz retired as a “master sergeant,” a rank lower.

Herr and three other retired senior members of the Minnesota National Guard pointed out additional lies. For example, Walz often claimed to be a football coach. But Herr clarified, “You were an assistant coach and got fired because of a DUI. Then you lied about being deaf to try and get out of it.”

Another falsehood involved Walz’s claim of carrying weapons “in war,” even though he never deployed to a combat zone. When questioned, Walz’s campaign initially said he “misspoke.” Later, in a CNN interview, Walz tried to blame his misstatement on poor grammar and speaking with passion.

Walz was also caught lying about how his children were conceived. He previously claimed they were conceived using in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, the truth was that his wife used intrauterine insemination (IUI), which is a different procedure entirely.

Herr summed up his frustrations by saying, “It’s just one habitual lie after another. They keep piling up, and eventually, there aren’t enough blankets to cover them up.” These comments reflect growing concerns over Walz’s credibility as he continues his bid for the presidency.
