Mouth SHUT – His SILENCE Says It ALL!

(DailyVantage.com) – Florida Governor and presidential candidate Ron DeSantis dodged a reporter’s question about whether he would commit to endorsing former President Donald Trump for the Republican Party if Trump were the Republican nominee.

DeSantis and the former president have plunged into a bitter feud as it became apparent the Florida Governor would pursue presidential aspirations. In Trump’s view, as well as the view of his supporters, DeSantis would not have been elected Florida governor if Trump had not given him his endorsement. Trump sees DeSantis as “disloyal” and this is a driver of the feud between the former president and DeSantis.

Trump has since come forward with several unflattering nicknames for his 2024 presidential nomination rival. In addition to the series of nicknames, and critical remarks, Trump has also pointed out many of his opponent’s flaws. Trump took to Truth Social to express his negative opinion of the DeSantis campaign, and how the former president claimed, citing media reports, that it was “endorsed” by the parent lobby company of Bud Light.

During a recent speech, DeSantis responded to some of the former president’s criticisms, saying that Trump was “full of it” when making statements about the Florida Governor’s pandemic response. DeSantis was responding to the same question where a reporter asked if he would support the potential Republican party nomination of the former president, but chose to respond only to the part of the question regarding his pandemic response.

Hypothetical election polls predict that Trump would outrank DeSantis in nomination votes by almost half. Trump was at 54% of polling votes and DeSantis was at 28% in the survey by Interactive Polls, a poll by Yahoo News and YouGov. Trump reposted the results to his platfrom Truth Social on June 23.

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, Trump’s former vice president Mike Pence, and Senator Tim Scott, among others, have thrown their hats in the 2024 race.
