(DailyVantage.com) – The anniversary of President Joe Biden’s first year in office is rapidly approaching, and it hasn’t been a good one if polling figures serve as an indication. A recent Quinnipiac University poll reveals just how much the president’s popularity has taken a nosedive.
Between January 7 and 10, Quinnipiac surveyed 1,313 Americans and discovered only 33% approve of the job Biden has done so far. This result is a 3% drop from November’s poll, where he had a 36% approval rating.

There are three main areas where Biden has failed Americans, according to the survey. The first is the economy, where only 34% approve of his performance. It’s no wonder with inflation rates soaring and the persistent supply chain bottleneck driving up demand. In terms of foreign policy, only 35% approve, likely due to his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and his insistence on trying to draw Iran to the negotiating table when it’s shown nothing but disdain for America.
Finally, there’s his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, where Biden has a 39% approval rating. When Biden campaigned, he said he was against mandates, but just under a year later, he attempted to implement several mandates only to have courts nationwide strike them down.
At this point, it seems like it’s going to take a miracle for Biden to see favorable numbers again. Meanwhile, the Right is doing all it can to ensure they reclaim the majority in the House and Senate during the upcoming November elections — and it’s looking like there’s going to be a red wave.
