Putin Launches Missiles – Tragic Death Toll Released

(DailyVantage.com) – Russian forces attacked Vinnytsia, Ukraine, on July 14. The strike killed 23 people and left 117 others with injuries. Ukrainian officials said the missiles targeted an office building but damaged residential areas and a medical facility and caused a fire in a nearby parking lot.

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, a deputy in the president’s office, posted a statement on Telegram noting at least three children died as a result of the attack, making it one of the worst civilian attacks since the beginning of the conflict. Images from the area show burnt-out buildings, body parts, a bloody stroller, and debris-filled streets.

A social media post by a local non-profit group named one of the victims as Elizaveta Ditrieva, a four-year-old who was attending speech therapy in the area with her mother. Known as Lisa, the little girl had down syndrome. Her mother remains hospitalized for her injuries.

Reuters News reported the shots came from a submarine in the Black Sea. Ukrainian defense forces reportedly shot down two additional missiles. The attack happened around 10:50 am local time. Russia has yet to confirm the incident.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted a video on Telegram of the destruction. He condemned the Russians for targeting civilians, calling it an act of terrorism in the accompanying text.
