The reward includes $10,000 from the New York Police Department (NYPD) and $50,000 from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), reflecting the urgency of solving the case.
Thompson was fatally shot in Midtown Manhattan outside 1335 Avenue of the Americas, where he was staying during UnitedHealth’s annual investors conference.
