(DailyVantage.com) – Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing wrapped up on March 24. President Joe Biden nominated the justice, who currently serves on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, last month in his quest to appoint a Black woman to the High Court. However, not everyone is happy with his choice, and one group is pointing out how her beliefs could rock the foundation of the court, given a chance.
On March 21, several pro-life groups joined forces in penning a letter to Sens. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA) of the Senate Judiciary Committee. In it, they draw attention to Jackson’s prior record regarding abortions, particularly noting her writings indicate she may be unable to remain impartial in the face of pro-life cases brought before the court. “She has been handpicked by a pro-abortion president,” the authors said, referring to Biden’s stance on the matter.

The letter continues, outlining Jackson’s behavior towards pro-life activists, saying she believes them to be a nuisance, and this attitude could carry over into her decisions if she’s confirmed.
Leaders of the groups who signed the letter come from the Susan B. Anthony List, March for Life Action, National Right to Life, Students for Life Action and others.
