Taylor Swift Defies Accusers – Reacts Amid Scandal
(DailyVantage.com) – Many liberals like to make a huge fuss over climate change and make public calls for politicians to address the issue, stat. Yet, when it comes to excess, the biggest offenders are often Liberals themselves. Taylor Swift recently found herself in the crosshairs after details about her private jet usage came to light.
On July 29, Yard Magazine published an article calling out celebrities for their CO2 emissions abuse. It analyzed data from the Celebrity Jets Twitter account and then compared the stars’ usage compared to the average American’s, creating a top 10 list of offenders. At the top? None other than pop star Taylor Swift.

According to the breakdown, her jet has flown nearly 23,000 minutes this year alone, with an average flight time of 80 minutes. In all, that’s created over 8,200 tons of emissions — from one person. Pretty wasteful for someone who claims to be a climate advocate.
Swift’s PR team was quick to respond to the backlash, telling The Rolling Stone the flights aren’t all hers. “Taylor’s jet is loaned out regularly to other individuals. To attribute most or all of these trips to her is blatantly incorrect.” That might be true, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s still her plane creating the emissions. Swift herself has remained mute on the subject.
