(DailyVantage.com) – When Meghan McCain left “The View” in August 2020, she left a gaping hole in the talk show’s panel. After all, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg subscribe to the liberal point of view — so much so that they reportedly bullied McCain into leaving her position. Now, the show is on the hunt for a conservative replacement, but the panelists have some strong ideas about who might fit the role — and according to Politico, the search isn’t going well.
Reportedly, one sticking point with finding a new host is the list of stringent requirements the woman must fill. First, she can’t subscribe to any theory the 2020 election was rife with fraud. Neither can the prospect be a MAGA supporter. Finally, they don’t want the candidate to fight vigorously for her opinion.
“They want someone who is going to fight — but not too hard, because they don’t want it to be ugly and bickering.”
Um… It's not the Republican cast member who makes it ugly and bickering.

With all of these conditions, it’s no wonder they’re having trouble filling the role. It’s like they’re trying to create their own version of “The Stepford Wives” — in political form. Over the last several months, “The View” has hosted several temporary replacements, including Alyssa Farah, Carly Fiorina and Condoleezza Rice. They’ve even reportedly wanted to hire Kat Timpf, but Timpf refused because the other panelists treat Conservatives poorly.
Perhaps, those working on “The View,” current panelists included, should re-examine the definition of conservative and stop trying to find a host who will submit to the mainly liberal cast. After all, the best way to promote unity is to at least listen to the opposing party’s ideas instead of flat-out shutting them down.
