Trump Criticizes ABC: “They’re the Worst, They’re the Nastiest”

(DailyVantage.com) – Former President Donald Trump is preparing to face off against Vice President Kamala Harris in an upcoming debate, but he’s already voicing concerns about how fair it will be. During a Fox News town hall with Sean Hannity, Trump called ABC News, which will host the debate, “hostile territory.” He accused the network of being biased in favor of Harris, pointing to her close ties with top ABC executives.

Trump specifically mentioned Dana Walden, a senior Disney executive, as someone who has a long-standing friendship with Harris. Trump suggested this relationship could sway the debate, saying, “The reason I’m doing it is because that’s the only one that [Kamala] would do it with.” He implied that Harris’s connections at the network are the reason she agreed to the debate.

He also criticized ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos, who he is suing for defamation. Stephanopoulos had falsely stated that Trump was “found liable for rape,” something Trump’s legal team has vehemently denied. Trump said this showed the network’s bias, calling ABC “the nastiest” and “worse than NBC,” which he’s criticized in the past.

In addition to Stephanopoulos, Trump brought up Donna Brazile, the former Democratic National Committee chair who leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 campaign. Trump reminded viewers that Brazile was fired over that scandal but now works for ABC. “Donna Brazile is there,” Trump said. “She gave Hillary the questions… and now she’s working at ABC.”

Despite his concerns about the network, Trump said he would still go through with the debate, confident he would outshine Harris. “I’ll do it anyway,” Trump said. “Even if she knows the answers and the questions, I don’t think she’ll be very good.”

Trump concluded by saying he feels obligated to take part in the debate because he believes Harris would never take questions or address the tough issues facing the country. He’s betting that the American people will see through any bias and recognize which candidate is better suited to lead.
