Trump Dominates Polls in Georgia Swing State

(DailyVantage.com) – A recent survey conducted by RMG Research for the Napolitan News Service shows former President Donald Trump leading in Georgia, a key swing state, ahead of the 2024 election. Trump holds a narrow three-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris, with 50 percent of respondents supporting Trump and 47 percent backing Harris. Another two percent of voters favored a different candidate, and two percent were undecided.

The poll also highlighted economic concerns, with 47 percent of Georgia voters reporting that their personal finances are worsening under the current administration, while only 23 percent said their situation is improving. This economic dissatisfaction could be playing a role in Trump’s lead.

Beyond Georgia, the survey hints at a close race in other battleground states. Trump holds a slight lead in Arizona and North Carolina, while polling in Pennsylvania and Nevada shows a tie. The Trump campaign expressed optimism about Georgia, particularly noting that the majority of new voter registrations have come from counties Trump won in 2020. Absentee ballot requests have also dropped significantly, which the campaign views as a positive sign for turnout in Trump’s favor.

Despite these favorable numbers, the Trump campaign remains cautious, particularly in areas affected by hurricanes, which could impact voter turnout. Trump narrowly lost Georgia by less than half a percentage point in the 2020 election, making this state a critical focus for both campaigns as Election Day approaches.
