Trump Drops BIG HINT Ahead Of Debates!

(DailyVantage.com) – On Tuesday former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to question the practicality of participating in the 2024 Republican primary debates.

“I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them”, Trump wrote on Truth.

“When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers”, he continued, “why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?”

According to recent polling, the former President is dominating the rest of the GOP field. The only person even remotely close to mounting a formidable challenge is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who still has not announced his plans for 2024.

As of right now, Trump would be sharing the debate stage with biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson, and conservative talk show host Larry Elder.

The prospect of the former President skipping out on a debate, however, is not unprecedented. In January of 2016, then candidate Trump skipped a GOP primary debate in Iowa. Trump instead hosted his own veteran’s charity event 3 miles away in Des Moines. He was accompanied by former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, both of whom did not qualify for the mainstage debate.

Trump also criticized the RNC’s decision to host the first primary debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California. Trump pointed out that Frederick Ryan Jr., the Library’s board chair, is also the publisher for the Washington Post. In another Truth Social post, Trump wrote that “President Ronald Reagan would not approve” of Ryan’s position on the board.

Trump, per usual, does not appear to be too satisfied with how the Republican Party leadership has been running things as of late.
