Trump POLLS Released – What Nobody Expected!

(DailyVantage.com) – President Joe Biden, who has recently struggled with his job approval ratings, looks to be in a dead heat general matchup with former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

According to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday, the 80-year old President has a slight 2 point edge over Trump, and is trailing DeSantis by 4 points. This would seem to indicate that DeSantis would be the better candidate to go up against Biden in the general election.

The same poll, however, also shows that Trump maintains a comfortable 10 point lead over Governor DeSantis, who has yet to declare his candidacy for President in 2024.

Though these polls are still early, it does appear that Biden may not be the strongest candidate for the Democrats going into 2024.

Earlier in March, a poll conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that Biden had only a 38% job approval rating among voters. This was only 2 points more than his all time low of 36% approval back in July of 2022.

These recent numbers seem to indicate that Biden is falling out of favor with Democratic voters. Voters remain dissatisfied with the President’s handling of the economy. Inflationary woes still plague the country and Biden has failed to lay out a clear framework that can help alleviate the financial toll it has taken on the U.S. economy.

According to a Reuters survey conducted in early March, the economy remains a top issue for American voters. The issue also happens to be the President’s weakest, with crime being a distant second.

But the new Quinnipiac poll also indicates that Trump may not be the strongest candidate for Republicans in 2024. Though it should be noted that while DeSantis has a slight lead over Biden, his numbers have been steadily slipping in recent weeks.
