Tucker Carlson Calls Out Corporations For Their CYNICAL Tactics
(DailyVantage.com) – Following the repeal of the 1973 landmark Roe v. Wade decision, many people took to social media to express both their gratitude and their disdain for the ruling. Some states immediately enacted trigger laws severely limiting the scope of or banning abortions altogether. Shortly after, many large corporations came out with plans to help their employees travel to other states to undergo an abortion. Now, one journalist says he knows exactly why they are doing this.
On Friday, June 24, episode of his eponymous show, Tucker Carlson addressed the issue of the Supreme Court’s decision and President Joe Biden’s denouncement. Then, he turned his focus to the companies offering to help their employees and said it’s because it costs less for them to hire workers without families. They are “much cheaper for the company,” Carlson explained.

Carlson continued, saying it’s cheaper for corporations to pay for the procedure than to “pay for maternity leave, or [add] an extra name on [a worker’s] insurance policy” in the long run. He finished by saying corporations are simply not family-friendly.
Dick’s Sporting Goods, Disney, Amazon, and Starbucks are among the companies that offered to pay for their employees to travel out of state to an abortion-friendly location.
