U.S. Senator SHOCKS MEDIA – Train Derailment Update!

(DailyVantage.com) – In the wake of the horrific train crash that resulted in chemicals spilling out into the water of East Palestine, Ohio, President Biden embarked on a trip to Ukraine. East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway, in an appearance on Fox News, called Biden’s decision to neglect the people of Ohio and instead visit Ukraine “the biggest slap in the face”.

The derailed train happened to be carrying an abundance of hazardous contaminants. According to Northfolk Southern, the train company in question, over 1 million gallons of water had to be removed from the sight due to contamination. This has resulted in citizens struggling to acquire safe drinking water.

Understandably, East Palestine residents feel ignored by the Biden administration. The President, instead of immediately visiting the people of Ohio, opted for Zelinsky.

In response to government inaction, Lindsay Johnston, a resident of East Palestine, told the New York Post “they think we’re all dumb hicks who voted for Trump…It’s not surprising Biden chose going to Ukraine over us.”

Newly elected Senator and acclaimed author J.D. Vance (R-OH), in an interview with Axios on Thursday, spoke about the “forgotten” residents of East Palestine. He said that he, along with former President Donald Trump and Fox News host Tucker Carlson, are among the few to “recognize” the plight of these Americans.

Vance, who is known for his populist streak, often speaks about the forgotten rust belt states. It was, afterall, the premise of his widely successful book Hillbilly Elegy. “These are the people who really lost when we lost our manufacturing base to China”, Vance told Axios.

As far as Vance is concerned, President Biden and his administration are indifferent about this plight. Vance, who visited East Palestine on Wednesday, stated that Biden should stop blaming Trump for his own failings as president.
