(DailyVantage.com) – The Hunter Biden laptop story has gained steam again after several news outlets admitted they incorrectly wrote the device off as a Russian disinformation campaign. Now, a journalist — and whistleblower — thinks he might have recovered an enormous amount of information from the laptop, and he’s so worried about retaliation, he’s fled the country.
In the spring of 2021, Jack Maxey provided several media outlets and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) with copies of the hard drive that reportedly came from Hunter Biden’s laptop. Now, he’s spent the last two weeks in Zurich, Switzerland, digging up data on the drive. Maxey says he and his colleagues have found and recovered a significant amount of deleted data comprising more than 80,000 images and videos and over 100,000 archived emails.

Maxey fled to Switzerland rather than carry out this task at home because he said he wouldn’t have been able to complete the work in the US. He claimed soon after he shared the drive with the media, black SUVs began appearing outside his home and friends of his — former US intelligence officers — told him they were receiving strange calls. One went so far as to tell Maxey to share excerpts of the data widely and publicly, or his life would be on the line.
Maxey said he plans to upload the deleted data to a searchable database online for people to see.
