(DailyVantage.com) – The hits just keep on coming for the Democrats, particularly failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. On February 11, Special Counsel John Durham revealed even more about her campaign’s actions toward Donald Trump during the 2016 election and in the Oval Office. Of course, this being hot news, reporters were chomping at the bit to hear what the White House had to say on the matter. Unfortunately for them, principal deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre wasn’t having it.
On Monday, February 14, Jean-Pierre led the White House daily press briefing and received a question about whether President Joe Biden had any concerns related to the news that Hillary Clinton reportedly hired a firm to infiltrate Trump’s computer systems. In typical White House fashion, Jean-Pierre refused to answer the question, directing the reporter to take it up with the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The reporter persisted, asking another question about the purported actions, “monitoring internet traffic — is that spying?” Once again, Jean-Pierre pushed off the question to the DOJ.
The thing is, the American people have the right to know what’s going on and what standards our current leader holds for both current and former lawmakers and cabinet members. Pleading the fifth or directing questions to another agency does nothing but raise more questions and suspicions in the long run.
