Hillary Clinton Accuses Trump of Wanting to ‘Kill’ Opponents

(DailyVantage.com) – Former First Lady Hillary Clinton recently spoke about former President Donald Trump during a podcast appearance, where she indirectly accused Trump of wanting to kill his political opponents and journalists who cover him unfavorably.

Clinton made her bizarre accusation while speaking to Marc Elias on his Defending Democracy podcast and talked about pressing issues, including Russia and the upcoming presidential election. Clinton cited Trump’s controversial statements and his outspoken criticisms of various people as evidence of the former president’s violent disposition.

According to Clinton, Trump is an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which Clinton claims should concern United States lawmakers and voters alike. Clinton also said that Trump wants to emulate Putin’s use of violence and censorship if re-elected before accusing the former president of wanting to exile or execute his critics. Clinton’s comments come while Trump faces criminal charges in multiple states, including charges relating to election interference and mishandling classified documents.

During the podcast interview, Clinton compared Trump to other world leaders, including Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korea’s dictator, Kim Jong-un. Clinton said that Trump emulates the behaviors of other authoritarian world leaders and that another term under Trump could result in the United States developing a new political regime. While talking about Trump’s similarities to other world leaders, Clinton also claimed that Trump only recognizes men in power, insinuating the former president harbors sexist beliefs.

Clinton’s outspoken accusations against Trump on the Defending Democracy podcast aren’t the first instance of her implying collusion between Trump and Putin, as she regularly claims that Putin likely interfered with the 2016 to have Trump elected. Clinton also recently claimed that Putin could use his influence to sway the 2024 presidential election in Trump’s favor, despite multiple federal authorities determining that the Russian collusion claims were illegitimate.

Clinton isn’t the only high-profile official attempting to discredit Trump, as a group of lawmakers are pushing legislation to target the former president. Representative Bennie Thompson (D-Mississippi) recently introduced a new act preventing convicted presidents from having a Secret Service security detail. Despite Thompson’s efforts and Clinton’s repeated claims of Trump’s violent nature, the former president maintains a strong level of popularity among independent and conservative voters.
