PETTY Display – Trump’s Legacy SHREDDED

( – Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has had a bathroom installed, complete with boxes of classified documents. The display was created by the LA street artist Plastic Jesus and includes a toilet, toilet roll, and bathtub containing several boxes of files, all surrounded by yellow “crime scene” tape. A photo of the display went viral on social media, with most comments describing the stunt in glowing terms.

Political contributor Ron Filipkowski tweeted, “Significant improvement to Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Historical accuracy is important.”

The former President appeared in a Miami courthouse in June to face several charges, including obstructing justice. The charges relate to boxes of classified documents found at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate during an FBI raid last August. He told Fox News’ Bret Baier in a recent interview that he did not return the documents when asked to do so because he had not had the time to sort through them.

The anonymous artist Plastic Jesus has been compared to the famous UK artist Banksy. He describes himself as a democratic socialist and said he learned the value of non-profit-driven institutions from growing up in Europe.

Examples of his work include a display of the famous Academy Award statue snorting cocaine under the heading “Hollywood’s Best Party” and a painting of George Floyd posing as Jesus Christ on the cross; the caption read “The New Messiah?” Floyd died when restrained by police in Minneapolis in 2020, sparking worldwide protests against alleged police brutality and racism.

This is not the first time vandals have targeted Trump’s star in Hollywood. In 2016, a man took a sledgehammer to the star and smashed it so badly that it needed to be completely replaced. The culprit was James Otis, who said he carried out the attack because he has family members who have suffered rape, and he was disgusted that a man he sees as excusing violence against women should become US President.
