(DailyVantage.com) – This year’s LGBTQ Pride Month celebrations are yielding a collection of interesting viral videos. The latest is from last Sunday’s Pride parade in Washington.
The video from the Seattle Pride Parade 2023 showed a few men waving their genitals in the presence of children who were among the spectators for the event, some of whom may be as young as 5-years-old. Other videos emerged of men bathing nude at a fountain in the presence of minors.
The video is similar to one that circulated last year from the parade in Seattle.
A few days prior, “Pride Weekend” kicked off in New York City with the Drag Parade, where a video was captured showing a few marchers chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children” interspersed with others chanting, “We’re not going shopping.”
Among average Americans, especially conservatives and Republican voters, there’s been a growing concern about the elimination of boundaries when it comes to LGBTQ subjects and events in relation to children. Many feel these subjects are inappropriate for minors and question the motivation of mainstream culture and the Democratic Party in promoting LGBTQ ideology to younger and younger audiences.
Some states, like Florida, have been pushing back with legislation, banning so-called “gender affirming care” for minors as well as the teaching of LGBTQ subjects in schools. Laws are also on the books to ban drag queen performances in the presence of minors, the violation of which could result in businesses and performers being fined.
Democrats and politically left-wing Americans believe the pushback is an attempt to eliminate equal rights for people who identify as LGBTQ, although a large amount of the people pushing back are gay, lesbian, and bisexual adults who are part of groups like Gays Against Groomers (GAG).
GAG stirred up controversy by parking a truck with LED screens on it in the middle of the NYC Pride Parade displaying messages like “leave the kids alone.”
