Biden CARTEL Bombshell – Big Project Announced!

(DailyVantage.com) – President Joe Biden, who has largely neglected the crisis at our southern border, announced on Friday that he would be targeting a Mexican drug cartel that had been peddling fentanyl into the country.

The administration, which has been criticized for taking a passive role in going after Mexican drug gangs at the border, is now attempting to ramp up its efforts to clamp down on crime in the region.

Attorney General Merick Garland’s Justice Department disclosed that it will be unleashing criminal charges against the Sinaloa Cartel, known for trafficking fentanyl.

Garland said the following in a statement on Friday: “Today, the Justice Department is announcing significant enforcement actions against the largest, most violent, and most prolific fentanyl trafficking operation in the world.”

For much of Biden’s time in office, however, little attention has been paid to the illegal activities taking place along our southern border. Rather, the administration has gone ruthlessly after former President Trump, his supporters, parents, and pro-life advocates.

In March 2021, Garland and Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas declared that “white supremacy” was America’s biggest national security threat. White supremacy, Garland remarked, is “the most persistent threat in the homeland.” He then went after the Jan. 6 protesters, saying that they were “ethnically or racially motivated”.

White supremacy, however, is an issue of little interest to the average American voter. Drug overdoses, on the other hand, present ordinary citizens with a real danger. According to a Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report released in 2020, “In 2020, 91,799 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States.”

And a Pew study released in January 2022 shows that black men have been disproportionately affected by the opioid pandemic.

So, for most of the duration of Biden’s presidency, his focus has been elsewhere.
